LUXE Hardshell roof top tent

The LUXE rooftop tent is our end opening model with the same features as our Premium D-LUXE model but in a narrower width.

FEATURES IN DETAIL

The outer aluminum shells are constructed using custom honeycomb panels with 4 internal reinforcement braces to add additional strength. We use an industrial grade Dulux® powder coating system on all the shell components and Sikaflex® sealers on any joints to provide superior anti corrosion and UV protection. Under floor vent panels allow constant air flow and allow the tent to continually breathe when closed. T slots run the entire perimeter and freestanding Fantail awnings can be fitted directly to the tents safely using our newly designed bracket system. And to seal out the environment we use an industrial automotive grade weather seal. 

All hardware is CNC machined anodized aluminum including our very own lockable adjustable seal pressure latches. The gas struts are 316 Marine grade 500nm pressure making sure that your tent is solid even in the strongest storms and upgradable to 650nm if loading your tent with solar, surfboards, kayaks etc. We also have gas strut locks available as an optional extra.

Our tents feature full length roof T- Slot extrusion to allow fitting of our optional solar panel kits and roof racks.

Internal power and lighting is included with a switch panel featuring USB, Type C and cig sockets. and a built in cover to stop the glow from and LED lights when sleeping. We have positioned the light switch conveniently close to the main entrance door. The power cable has an Anderson plug connection and any power adapter can be purchased to run off phonebanks etc. we have included a low power 2-Way, 3 speed 12V Airflow Fan - this can be used to pull or push air into the tent and is positioned high to reduce the damp air buildup when sleeping this vastly reduces the condensation in the tent. All of our tents come with 4 of our anti condensation packs to help protect your investment.

Our optional 12v power & solar power kit,  270W solar panels designed in a square shape to reduce the area used on the roof are in stock. The optional power kit allows for simple plug and play of solar panels and base plugs to allow solar out and 12v power in.

The main fabric body is constructed from blackout breathable 300GSM polycotton. All windows, doors have insect mesh. We have added a simple one zip drop to our side windows that drops both the insect mesh and solid fabric panels for convenience. Built in heater duct perfect for winter camping or drying out the tent.

Inside there are rear and side pocket panels and exterior shoe pocket.

The outer rainfly is constructed using 600D polyester in a light grey colour to further reduce heat internally and features roll up window/door awnings. 

Our mattress is a dual layer laminated foam with 20mm of high rebound memory foam and 40mm of high density foam placed on top of a 10mm anticondensation layer providing 3 layers of luxurious comfort. It has a soft plush top machine washable cover with waterproof bottom layer and sides.

The telescopic ladder is 2.3m long at full extension and adjustable in height, it features super wide rungs to provide superior safety and comfort when climbing up in bare feet. We have anti-rattle ladder receivers thar eliminate the noise made when there is movement in the tent.  Closing the ladder is done with a simple 1 click action allowing the ladder to close quickly and conveniently in one drop. It comes with its own tough waterproof PVC backed travel cover and includes our sand brush to remove dirt and sand from the ladder and feet. We also stock 2.6m ladders for the higher vehicles.
