Fantail 270 Max Gen 3 Awning Wall Kits

Take advantage of the Fantail 270 Max's large 13m² awning footprint by converting it into a spacious, configurable sheltered campsite.

Designed for campers who need more usable space around the vehicle, the 270 Max wall system is particularly suited to family trips, extended touring and basecamp-style setups where the awning becomes the main living area.

The outer wall kit includes five separate panels: two plain walls, two door panels with windows, one window wall and a carry bag. This modular design allows different sides of the awning to be opened or enclosed depending on sun, wind, privacy and campsite orientation. The windows feature fully adjustable zip-down covers for controlling light and privacy, along with insect mesh to allow airflow while helping keep bugs outside.

Each wall attaches along the horizontal awning arms using strong-hold Velcro and connects to adjoining panels with individual zips. All wall panels can be rolled up independently or extended outwards to provide additional shelter using optional poles (sold separately).

For more complete separation from the vehicle, the four-piece inner-wall system closes the inside edge of the awning while retaining zippered door access to the vehicle from the rear or side. A divider wall can also be attached to either of the centre awning arms to create a separate area for sleeping, changing, a toilet or shower setup, or gear storage.

Adjustable security straps at each corner, multiple peg points and guy ropes help support the walls in changing weather. Covered joining zips help prevent water penetration, while full PVC mud skirts provide additional protection around the enclosed space. Multiple height adjustment straps at the base of each wall also allow the system to accommodate different vehicle heights.

When both wall kits are used, the Fantail 270 Max can create approximately 26m² of total covered space, making it the largest enclosed awning setup in the current Lucas Creek Fantail range.

The outer and inner wall kits are available separately or can be purchased together as a bundle, saving $100.
